We are happy to announce the new co-chairs for the CCC Program Committee. They are Marji Bennett and Donna Hix. Please give them all the support you can to make each monthly meeting a bigger success.

OPEN POSITION: LADIES LUNCHEON CHAIRPERSON
Solicit and schedule luncheon hosts for monthly meeting (hosts choose restaurant, make group reservation, maintain list of attendees, collect any pre-payments needed, and plan activities, if any.) Publish luncheon schedule. Please volunteer to Chair an activity, either alone or with a friend! New neighbors are encouraged to participate, and current chairs will be glad to help.

🌟 CASTLEBERRY/VILLAGES ORGANIZATIONS AND CHARITIES NEEDING YOUR SUPPORT 🌟

CASTLEBERRY BOOKS TO KEEP PROGRAM:
The BookKeepers Reading Group is collecting new and gently used children’s books (infant through pre-teen) for distribution at 5 local food pantries. The goal of the program is to encourage children to read by giving them books that they can keep. A “Castleberry Books to Keep” label is placed in every book so each child can personalize the book. For questions or to donate books, please contact: Sue Henry (603) 320-1430 or Click to email Sue. You may also drop off books at 775 Castleberry Circle (Stauts), 836 Castleberry Circle (Fahey) or 852 Castleberry Circle (Anderson). Your participation is greatly appreciated. We are now a 501c3 so your donations are tax deductible.

NOTE: As of December, 2021, more than 30,000 books have been donated to children through this program.

KIDZ STUFF SHARING CENTRAL
Sherry Canger is maintaining a list of children's items (wagons, portable cribs, etc.) that Castleberry neighbors are willing to share. Please contact Sherry at (352) 633-0942 or Click to Email Ann> to list items you will loan or to find out what's available to borrow.

RECYCLABLES FOR CHARITIES
Donations of: food for the Christian Food Pantry (please no outdated items), pop tops, and eyeglasses. Save now and drop off in box at 848 Castleberry.

YE OLDE THRIFT SHOPPE
Donations of: clothing, jewelry, household goods, decorative items, books, and small appliances can be dropped off at the home of Frank and Mary Stauts. Please leave a phone message at (352) 750-3718 before doing so. Do not leave larger items or furniture.
All donations are sold for the benefit of The Villages Regional Hospital.

  • WHERE: Meet in front of the Biermas 848 Castleberry Circle.

  • A leisurely bike ride, about 45 minutes, on quiet residential streets ending up at Too Jays for breakfast - OUTDOORS. Any questions call Ann 352-217-0178. Hope to see you!
